Administration

Story

As part of a team, I recently helped a national organization managing their curatorship department. Our goal was to build an application to improve their efficiency and make their daily tasks easier when managing the cases of millions of persons under curatorship, dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

The main part of this application is the creation of a single file for each person under curatorship. This single file enables to bring together the person's information and history, making it easier to share information between all the organisation's departments. Gathering information in one place also helps to avoid errors and duplication.

One of our biggest challenges was to structure the information in this file in an optimal and user-friendly way, so that the content could be analysed and found quickly. Information about a person under curatorship comes in all shapes and sizes (financial, legal, documents, etc.), which makes it difficult to classify.

Behind this single file, a whole system for creating cases and managing claims has been put in place to facilitate the administrative work of employees. We also designed a fully customized interface to help them allocate folders according to employees availabilities and more.
