Lilu is a French artist who creates hand-drawn, personalized illustrations of homes, landscapes, and iconic places. Each piece is unique and printed on high-quality paper. To support the growth of her business, she needed a customized e-commerce platform that would reflect her artistic identity while offering a smooth shopping experience for her customers.

The main goal of this project was to develop a tailor-made online store that would:

• Showcase the artworks in an elegant and minimal way
• Provide a user-friendly, secure checkout experience
• Allow customers to place custom illustration orders
• Help the artist manage her production schedule efficiently
• Facilitate the preview and approval process for personalized illustrations

• Custom Development:

  I developed a custom production planning system that limits the number of illustration orders per week based on the artist’s availability. When a user visits a product page, they are shown an estimated delivery week depending on the current workload.

  The artist can define vacation dates during which no previews are scheduled for delivery. This ensures clients receive realistic timeframes.

  Through a dedicated extension, I integrated a preview validation system feature allowing the artist to upload a draft preview to the platform. The client can then accept it or leave comments directly within their customer space.

I was in charge of the full development of the website based on an existing design. The focus of this project was primarily on the technical implementation, with a strong emphasis on solving specific business constraints through custom development.

The final website is a streamlined and robust e-commerce platform that not only enhances the customer experience but also fits seamlessly into the artist’s creative workflow. Thanks to the custom-built planning system, Lilu can now manage her time more effectively without overbooking herself, while still offering a personalized and professional experience to her clients.
