Bouf is a personal meal planning app designed to help users save time and reduce mental load around cooking. Instead of searching for recipes online every week, users can manually enter the recipes they already love and cook often — just the way they like them. The goal is to build a personalized recipe book that can then be used for weekly planning.
This application was created to solve a personal frustration: wanting a simple, customized meal planner based on recipes you already know and enjoy. The main goals were:
I designed and developed the application from scratch. From the initial idea to the first usable version, I handled both the UX/UI design and the technical implementation. The design was focused on simplicity and speed of use — no unnecessary complexity, just the essentials for everyday cooking organization.

(In development) Auto-generated shopping list based on planned meals
The app is fully functional in its initial version and already used daily to manage and cook from a personalized recipe collection. The V2 — currently under development — will bring more structure and automation to the weekly meal planning process. The project combines practical design with modern front-end and back-end technologies to create a simple yet powerful tool for everyday life.
